SERVICE CHANGES NOTIFICATION: ASUS WebStorage to Terminate Shanghai Data Center Services on May 1st, 2018. Full Refunds Provided.

Dear ASUS WebStorage User:

Thank you for your continued support of our cloud storage, "ASUS WebStorage" (hereinafter "WebStorage"). To cooperate with the Chinese government supervision and regulation department's special campaign for internet storage governance, WebStorage will be terminating the services of the Shanghai data center on May 1st, 2018, and will carry out important operations at the times shown below. To ensure your data and rights are unaffected, please take note of the schedule and take necessary actions accordingly:

Now until April 30th - Issuing refunds:
If your WebStorage account has not expired, a full refund will be refunded to your account with the issuing bank of the credit card used for the original purchase. If the refund is not received by April 30th, be sure to contact customer service (contact@asuswebstorage.com) before May 31st.
March 1st - Upload service terminated:
You will no longer be able to upload any data to WebStorage.
March 1st to April 30th - Download only:
We recommend that you start backing up or downloading all the data you stored on WebStorage presently.
May 1st - Services officially terminate:
WebStorage will terminate the Shanghai data center services on May 1st. You will no longer be able to log in. To continue using WebStorage, please log in to our dedicated website, and reactivate your account to use the data centers of other regions. However, connection quality may be affected by factors such as network environment and geographic distance. Information regarding the dedicated website will be provided in May.

* Before you reactivate your WebStorage account, if your data is still stored in the Shanghai data center, the data will be deleted automatically without notice, and cannot be recovered.
